The 3.5-Hour White Pass and Yukon Suspension Bridge Private Tour begins with a city tour through the Historic Downtown District for a view of boardwalks and buildings from the Gold Rush era.

This excursion travels along the Klondike Highway which parallels the scenic WP&YR Railroad. We will travel over the rugged coastal mountain range with glacier fed waterfalls while amidst the temperate rainforest. As we near the summit at 3,292 feet in elevation, we enter the sub-alpine forest and the stunning views of Tormented Valley. As we travel further north, we will enter the boreal forest where we have a chance to see moose and caribou.

A 45-minute stop at the Yukon Suspension Bridge provides time for a journey across the Tutshi River with breathtaking views of the class 4 whitewater rapids. There is a small cafe, a souvenir shop, and flushing toilets.

This area is rich in history and full of amazing views! There is always an opportunity to see wildlife on the pass such as mountain goat, black bear, marmot, and ptarmigan. Photo stop options include Bridal Veil Falls, Tormented Valley, and the Welcome to Alaska sign.

This journey provides the perfect natural backdrops for group photos. A stop at Bridal Veil Falls will give you the opportunity to drink ice cold filtered glacier water. Glacier water provided, bring a water bottle.

Ella (our official mascot) goes on all tours unless otherwise requested!

Ella is a 14 pound Italian Greyhound Minipin who loves to come on tour. She is well mannered and great with kids!
